Having worked in a number of top direct marketing agencies including Payne Stracey (aka TBWA Payne Stracey) he setup digital agency edesigns.co.uk in 1999.
The purpose of the agency was to creatively apply traditional direct marketing techniques to digital mediums and it quickly became the UK’s first full service creative email marketing agency and a top 50 digital agency in 2004.
Following this Marcel formed Cowan Group as a full service creative and digital agency whose strengths lie in working with clients to demystify digital technologies, build business and create new and innovative ways to market through relationship driven channels.
Marcel drives the agency forward and ensures we have the experience and expertise to creatively deliver in
both direct marketing and digital mediums.
He is also currently Chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) E-Communications Council.
